Privacy

Ghost Volley is in beta. This page explains, in plain words, what we keep and why.

What we keep

A random ID for your browser. It's made up on your device and saved there, so we can count unique visitors and connect your visits with your matches. We never know your email or phone.
The player name you type, and how each match went (who won, who was hit or fell, how many rounds).
When you visit, whether it's a phone, tablet or computer, and which website sent you here (for example WhatsApp or Instagram).
Page-view counts through Vercel Web Analytics, our hosting provider's privacy-friendly analytics. It uses no cookies and doesn't identify you.

No account, email, phone number or password is needed to play.
No precise location, no cookies for tracking and no advertising trackers.
We never store your IP address. To stop spam, we keep a scrambled code made from it (which can't be turned back into the address) for up to one hour. Our hosting providers may keep IP addresses briefly in their standard server logs.

To see whether people enjoy the game and how to make it better. We don't sell or share this data.

To reset your random ID, clear this site's data in your browser settings.
To ask us to delete your data, email vedanthv999@gmail.com (open email). Tell us your player name and roughly when you played.

The game is for ages 13 and up. If you're under 18, please play with a parent's or guardian's permission.
We don't ask for an email, phone number or real name, and there's no chat, no ads and nothing to buy.
Please use a nickname, not your real name.
Parents: email us and we'll delete your child's play data.
